An update on my life (2026)

A lot has changed in my life the last five years, I plan to start blogging again, so I figured an update is past due.

I moved to downtown Pittsburgh in April 2021, met a wonderful woman named Trish, and moved in with her in April 2023 at her house in Munhall, a suburb South of Pittsburgh.

I continued working on Rc² which morphed into NoteCalc, then Enlighten as the goals and target market changed as my boss passed away and his older son, Soren took over (I’ve known Soren most of my life). I now work full time for his company Permaling.

Trish & I spend a lot of time playing board/card games and going to concerts, stand up comedy, and horror movie conventions.

I was also diagnosed with Autism, which finally explained so many mysteries in my life. I never understood social conventions and had a hard time relating to other people. Things are much better now that I understand the reason why.

I’m now spending my spare time on a new App called Alcove, an ebook library manager and (eventually) reader for Mac, iPad, and iPhone. I’ll be writing lots about it soon.
